Project Management
New residential and commercial developments require several essential utilities, often within the same areas and on closely connected schedules. When providers work separately, competing timelines and overlapping work can create conflicts and delays.
Manitoba Hydro’s approach brings telecommunications, power, gas, and other utilities into one coordinated construction process. Our aim is to simplify delivery for developers and municipalities while maintaining safety and quality across every scope.

Multiple utility providers needed to complete work within the same developments, at the same time. Each project came with its own schedule, requirements, and dependencies.
Tight construction timelines increased the importance of coordination, while overlapping work created added safety and quality considerations. Crews also had to complete new installations without disrupting infrastructure already in place.

Centralized scheduling and project management kept providers aligned with construction phases while maintaining consistent safety and quality requirements.
