About ROHL
About ROHL
Since 1967, our continued investment in people, equipment, and experience has laid the foundation for every stage of our growth.

Indigenous relations
Since 2008, we have worked alongside First Nations and Indigenous communities to support projects that expand connectivity, opportunities, and contribute to long-term priorities. Our commitment is grounded in:
01
Respect for rights, sovereignty, cultures, and cultural heritage
02
Early, meaningful engagement throughout planning and delivery
03
Open communication with leadership and representatives
04
Community participation in decisions that affect the project
05
Local employment, training, and on-going stewardship
Mentorship Program
ROHL prioritizes local hiring, Indigenous workforce participation, procurement from Indigenous-owned businesses, and practical training. Through the ROHL Mentorship Program, participants receive access to education and employment during project delivery and in the years that follow.
Our goal is to leave lasting skills, strengthen workforce capacity, and support initiatives that communities lead and operate long term.

Community knowledge provides important context that may not be visible through technical assessments alone. Before construction begins, ROHL gathers input to inform route selection, access planning, environmental measures, and the protection of culturally significant areas.
Communication continues throughout operations so concerns and changing conditions can be addressed as the work progresses.
