ROHL Global Networks is a long-standing telecommunications and utility construction company dedicated to connecting Canadians in rural, urban, and remote communities. We are looking for a Procurement Associate to join our Acheson, Alberta team.
Under the supervision of the Associate Director, Compliance, Marketing, Procurement, the Procurement Associate will support the Associate Director in a variety of tasks related to procurement, contracts, marketing and office administration, and be responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and develop proposals, presentations, contracts, reports and other agreements
- Write various proposal sections, including executive summaries, project descriptions (qualification summaries), matrices and CVs as required
- Perform clerical and administrative duties including drafting correspondence, email, calendar, travel arrangements, data entry & meeting minutes
- Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of policies, procedures and office administrative systems
- Assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of subcontractors
- Manage/oversee ROHL leases, office vendors, NDA’s and vendor accounts
- Assist in contract compliance functions and audits
- Develop marketing strategies for projects, including company websites and social media
- Work closely with the ROHL team on development and implementation of promotional articles and videos
- Reviewing, processing, and auditing of shipping/receiving documents to ensure proper recording and inventory maintenance
- Provide support to other projects or duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in office administration or a similar role
- Previous experience working in a procurement, contracts or marketing environment is considered an asset
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to perform and prioritize concurrent assignments with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentially with tact and discretion
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, internal and external business contacts
- Proficient in MS Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Strong written communication skills with attention to detail experience proof-reading, editing, and formatting correspondence and reports with accuracy
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with tact, diplomacy, and professionalism over the telephone and in person
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative
- Flexible to organizational needs and changes in business directions
- Experience operating forklifts a definite asset
- May be required to occasionally work overtime or evenings and weekends
- Occasional travel and working outdoors in various weather conditions may be required
