Inventory & Office Coordinator

We are searching for an individual to join our Acheson, Alberta team as our Inventory & Office Coordinator. This position plays a vital role in supporting both our Project Management Office and Operations team by accurately managing our inventory, and also providing support to ROHL staff in our Acheson office.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review and process shipping/receiving documents to ensure proper recording of inventory
  • Ensure accuracy of inventory data through perpetual counts and investigate discrepancies or variances and document results
  • Operate a forklift as needed to unload/load delivery vehicles and move inventory around shop/yard
  • Keep yard and shop clean and in neat, orderly condition
  • Provide office support by answering and directing calls, order office supplies
  • Be the first point of contact for customers/clients, liaise with contractors and vendors
  • Support, implement and maintain procedures and office administrative systems
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 1 year inventory management or related experience including cycle counts and identifying inventory variances
  • Minimum 1 year experience operating forklift and/or other warehouse equipment
  • Valid Forklift certification
  • Valid Class 5 (or higher) driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Excellent organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, work on concurrent assignments and meet deadlines
  • Strong written communication skills with experience proof-reading, editing, and formatting correspondence and reports with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and be proactive
  • Proficient in MS Office applications with advanced Excel skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to take on additional duties and training as required
